OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an Operations Manager for our Melville, Long Island regional office who will be responsible for:Scheduling all security officers and supervisors at our client locationsEnsuring timeliness and accuracy of all payroll and billing dataReconcile payroll on a daily basis with a high degree of accuracyHandling officers' payroll adjustmentsEnsuring sufficient coverage is maintained at all timesControlling overtime and operating costsCoordinating with HR Department all schedules of current/new security officers including on-site training requirementMaintaining and enforcing all disciplinary action documentation of security personnelResponding to any call-offs, request for time off, or any other type of emergency staffing situation to ensure sufficient security coverageStaffing and coordinating Field Leader schedules and itineraryMaintaining security officer qualifications, certification and any other requirements required for our locationsPerforming other duties as may be required by this position or as directed by the Regional Manager

Requirements:Thorough understanding of automated payroll processing systemsMust be able to work with deadlines and flexible with working hoursCollege Degree in Criminal Justice/Business Administration preferred; will accept equivalent experience sufficient to the functions of the jobSufficient working knowledge of security guard industry and operations preferredMust be DETAIL ORIENTED and proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsPrevious Contract Security experience a plusStrong time management skills and experience required with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse culturesAbility to maintain composure under certain circumstancesAbility to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independentlyOutstanding customer service and delivery skillsAbility to write logs and reports
