Network Provisioner/Scheduler

Interface seeks an experienced Network Provisioner in our St. Louis, MO office. Interface is a leading provider of wide-area networks, event monitoring and managed IP services for America’s best known commercial and retail organizations

The successful candidate will join our Provisioning team and will be responsible for all ordering and order management of circuit installations. Type of orders include, but is not limited to, DSL, Frame, Cable and VSAT.  The Provisioner will need to understand basic DSL and frame technology and will carry out our day-to-day production activities while working closely with the Project Management team.

 

Responsibilities include:Provisioning and scheduling of all circuits (including ports & change orders). Scheduling of all turn ups and ports with the client and internal voice and data teams. Updating of database with status as needed Daily updating of tracking spreadsheet with new orders or activations. Acquiring technical information as needed if it is not included with the order.

Job Requirements:Technical knowledge of all telecommunications products and services (including, but not limited to POTS lines, PR1, DS1, DS3, MPLS, point-to-point circuits, Ethernet products, in-building fiber providers). Excellent communication skills (oral and written) for dealing with clients, vendors and team members. Ability to multi-task and ability to work on many projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills. 2+ years of telecom experience.
