Location: Boca Raton Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Job Posted: 9/11/2008 Job Description: SUMMARY:Lead other Compliance Managers and ADT Team Members in the development of company policy and procedures. In this endeavor, works closely with senior regional and corporate management teams to develop best practices. Conceptually, then leads in the development and roll-out of company-wide programs to enable ADT functions and sites to comply with company policies, procedures and best practices as well as applicable federal, state and local law. This position also leads in the design and implementation of a company-wide program of measurements and self-tests to enable management to identify non-compliant operations. Leads compliance review teams to perform reviews of field and headquarters operations; researches achievement of and compliance with established profit margins and policies; analyzes variances on profitability; makes recommendations and consults with senior management and team members to improve operating costs and mitigate risks. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Analyze policies and procedures to ensure applicability to the current operating environment and best practices.2. Analyze field and headquarters sales, installation and service practices for inefficiencies and profit improvement.3. Determine compliance with established policies and evaluate systems of internal controls and proper safeguarding of assets.4. Make recommendations to improve margins and/or establish the controls necessary for compliance with established policies and safeguarding of assets.5. Discuss with regional and corporate management the viability of their planned corrective actions.6. Perform special finance and operational related projects.Requirements: SKILLS:? Minimum 10 years business experience with a diverse background in Finance/Accounting, Internal Audit, Sales, Information Technology, Operations and /or Administration. ? Management experience preferred. ? Candidate should have at least some work experience in the security industry.EDUCATION:? Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
