PGS Blue Springs, MO Branch is currently accepting applications for Dispatchers to work at the client site in St. Louis, MO.  Qualified applicants should meet strict essential functions of the job that encompass high levels of physical and mental abilities and must be able to pass an extensive background investigation to include behavioral assessment surveys, and pre-employment backgrounds investigations. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a U.S. CitizenAt least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsMinimum of six (6) months previous satisfactory work experience. Security officer, prior law enforcement, or prior military experience is strongly encouraged.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate and monitor communications via the client radio communications networkCoordinate first responder notificationAnswer calls into facility and document all pertinent informationProvide an atmosphere in which all associates, customers, and visitors know that the company responds to, and cares about their needsCommunicate in a manner that is open, honest, and responsive in all situationsProvide pleasant interaction with associates, customers, and visitorsProvide general information pertaining to the surrounding areas and assistance as requested by visitors and/or customers regarding the facility in an effort to ensure customer satisfactionObserve and report any suspicious activity to appropriate security/management representativeEnforce regulations designed to prevent breaches of security and exercise judgment while using discretion in dealing with the emergencies and security violations encountered
