Summary:
The Director, Government Contracts Compliance is charged with providing executive leadership and strategic
vision for formation and administration of government contracts including the planning, developing, implementing,
and evaluating a robust government contracts compliance operation within COMPANY Commercial/National Accounts
Sales Division. The scope of this operation will span U. S. Federal, state and local government entitities.
Incumbent provides leadership for all aspects of acquisition including acquisition planning, acquisition strategy,
source selections, cost/price analysis, claims, contract administration, and terminations. Utilizing clearly
demonstrated experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provide executive leadership for planning,
developing, implementing and evaluating a robust contracting, acquisition, and procurement program. In addition,
negotiate difficult requirements with both customers and vendors, and demonstrate positive results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serve as National Accounts focal point for all contracts administration and compliance matters relating to GSA
and other multiple US Government procurement regulations, the FAR including agency supplements such as
the including the DFAR NASA FAR Supplement, Department of Homeland Security, and multiple state-
government and Federal agency-specific acquisition regulations.
2. Act as primary company interface with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense
Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) representatives.
3. Serve as focal point for responses to all government audits including GSA. Prepare and/or review documents
requested by government auditors.
4. Collaborate with leadership across COMPANY to define resource requirements, priorities and timelines required in
support of compliance activities.
5. Focus on improving organization performance by facilitating innovative and smart business arrangements;
mitigating business and compliance risk; using performance metrics; leveraging technology and commercial
best practices.
6. Establish and manage one or multiple Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) to include establishing, implementing,
and monitoring procurement policies and procedures and providing a full range of procurement services.
7. Participate in due diligence activities and provide special project support to the General Counsel, CFO and
other members of the senior staff on an as required basis.
8. Provide management and direction to corporate resources and sales division for government contract matters
Requirements:
Education: Undergraduate degree in Business discipline required. Master's degree in business
administration, finance, or law strongly preferred.
Experience:
Ten (10) or more years of demonstrated contract or legal experience in a Federal Government Contracting environment including FAR/DFAR, CAS, GSA, contract formation, bids & proposals, negotiations, amendments, and startups and closeouts that reflect with at least one (1) to two (2) years in the Security industry preferred. Seven (7) to (10) or more years of management experience. Proven leadership for all aspects of acquisition including acquisition planning, acquisition strategy, source selections, cost/price analysis, claims, contract administration and terminations required. Ten plus (10+) years of specialized experience defined as expert knowledge and experience in the broad range of Federal procurement actions, policy, and procedures; contract administration, negotiation, administration, dispute resolution with ability to interpret complex contracting regulations and development of policies and procedures. Experience managing U. S. Federal and state government audits. Government contracting experience in both the public and private sectors is highly desired, but not required. Five (5) to Seven (7) years experience managing US Federal and state government audits Seven (7) to Ten (10) or more years of management experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills Demonstrated ability to operate in various capacities on multi-discipline teams. Demonstrated skills and achievement in leadership, mentoring, communications, organizational effectiveness, computer operations, time management, and team building. PC proficiency. Problem Solving skills. Proven ability to work with all levels of the company, government agencies and customer organizations Ability to travel- Travel: 25% to 35%
