Associate Analyst, Fraud
Do you enjoy researching issues and finding resolutions? Do you like to use different tools including your analytical skills to develop solutions? If so, then consider becoming a part of the Circuit City team as an Associate Analyst, Fraud on our Web Sales and Operations team today! As a Fraud Associate Analyst, you will be identifying, researching and validating e-commerce sales transactions while reviewing web orders daily and determining transaction validity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Review SQL queries for further order review Catch and stop shipment for fraud identified in queries Timely response to customer service and customer escalations of credit card fraud In-depth research to detect trends and patterns of activity on CircuitCity.com Some partnership with law enforcement to provide case details Interact with e-commerce customer service, e-commerce distribution and fulfillment, corporate asset protection, law enforcement agencies, credit card issuers/acquirers, Circuit City store management and customers To be successful in this role, you should have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to make good decisions quickly with only limited information. You should also understand Circuit City store/web operations. Experience in fraud detection/risk assessment and credit card processing and a Criminal Justice degree are preferred; strong MS Access and Excel skills and SQL knowledge are also preferred. The successful candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated and highly organized. ** One weekend day each week and schedule flexibility required.
