Administrative Assistant

A National Security Consulting Firm headquartered in Downtown Manhattan is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their office.  They are seeking a person with 3-7 years of similar work duties that demonstrates longevity in their work history. 

 

This position requires the skills and abilities to Interact professionally with staff and clientele  Manage details of a highly confidential and critical nature Generate and formulate equipment reconciliation reports and records Phone duty Coordinate travel for staff Perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks; work under intensive deadlines with frequent interruptions Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies Customer service and client follow up Maintain attendance, time off records and company calendar Design, develop and maintain spreadsheets requiring data interpretation and manipulation Create, maintain and update electronic and paper files  Research and assemble information from a variety of sources for the completion of specialized forms and reports

This position requires proven knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Access and Power Point The professional application of English grammar for the construction and proof reading of internal and external documents



Incumbents in this position perform a variety of difficult, specialized administrative support functions, to include providing sensitive and confidential administrative and support services to the staff, with a significant degree of independence and accountability for results.

  

The starting salary range is $40k-$50k per year plus a very nice *benefits package.
