Cricket Communications has multiple opportunities for individuals looking to contribute to an organization that rewards your success.Position Overview> Assumes direct responsibility for all day-to-day store operations, including: targeted sales achievement, store financial management, merchandising and promotional activities, customer service and retention, audits, employee training, inventory management, cash handling, reconciliations and deposits, customer satisfaction measured by surveys, store safety and security.> Ensures attainment of all net sales and revenue goals including: gross sales, net sales, accessory sales and margin targets, rate plan take rates, enhanced services targets - features/text messaging/insurance sales/fees/data products and all other add-ons, automatic bill payment targets. Demonstrates technical competence for products and services sold.> Assists District Director/Manager in establishing budget, operates within approved budget. Exhibits solid understanding of financial/business metrics and reports. > Analyzes business operations and trends. Develops and executes plans to correct.> Assists District Director and regional finance team in preparing monthly operations review.> Manages human resources functions for the store including: recruiting, selection, hiring, training, development and evaluations of all store employees. > Implements management practices which ensure store effectiveness and positive employee relations. > Partners with regional Human Resource team as required by company practices/policies. > Facilitates timely handling of employee relations issues. Positively influences and motivates all employees by maintaining a team approach in the day-to-day management of all employees. Provides performance feedback to employees on a regular basis. Makes employee development a priority. > Facilitates regularly scheduled employee meetings. Ensures employees complete all training as assigned in a timely manner. > Ensures adherence to Company policies and procedures. > Exhibits excellent communication, problem solving and employee development skills.> Implement and lead RBMs in development of store sales strategies and facilitate tactical implementation. Exhibit knowledge of competitive landscape.> Maintain a relationship with Network Operations Department that allows for ongoing knowledge of, and participation in, network development, customer-related network issues and resolution of these issues.> Engages in community activities and business development that support business goals. > Develop best practices for all store locations. > Proactively informs District Director of key issues and challenges and creates improvement plans.EducationRequired: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline; or equivalent experience. Industry ExperienceRequired: Consumer Sales Preferred: Wireless telecom or High Tech industryWork ExperienceRequired: Minimum of 4 years proven retail sales management experience (interactive sales process, commissioned sales). Minimum 4 years managing against financial goals, budgeting, forecasting and managing results. Minimum 4 years selecting, managing and developing employees (proven leadership skills)Preferred: Minimum 5 years proven retail sales management experience. Minimum of 3 years previous experience with back office systems (billing, call center, etc) Minimum 3 years managing retail operations for a wireless telecom provider.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
