SmartBargains.com is an online, off-price retailer serving the value conscious customer. SmartBargains.com provides an assortment of branded merchandise in categories such as home products, apparel, jewelry and shoes. RueLaLa.com is an invitation-only, private sale site focused on fashion and home products. The private sale model provides consumers exclusive access to scheduled sales of upscale brands. Each private sale is brand-specific, lasts approximately two days and features current-season merchandise. Access to RueLaLa.com is by invitation only, driven primarily by user-generated membership. Title: Site Content Producer, Boston

 

Purpose and Scope:

 

Retail Convergence is seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented, extremely organized, accurate individual who is able to meet changing deadlines. The Site Content Producer will report directly to the Director of Site Content.


Principal Responsibilities:

 

·  Ensure the launch of product to the websites in a timely manner

·  Work within the team to help manage priorities for two photography studios, product stylists, imaging specialists, and copywriters communicate priorities on a daily basis

·  Assist Merchant team, in efforts to produce new, and maintain active items, supporting product recategorization, drop-down maintenance, pricing issues, status issues, color issues, missing swatches, keep alive, new arrival flags, SSC products

·  Support of customer’s site experience working with Merchandising and Programming on creating brand names, helping optimize search by maintaining and editing Global Attributes, and controlling the department and class structure on the website, as defined by Director, CE

·  Schedules and Ad-hoc reporting to identify production trends, and measure weekly output

 

Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree1-3 years production site content experienceWork independently with direct supervision, ability to reprioritize workflow as needed, while maintaining production and departmental objectivesFundamental working knowledge of Microsoft products, and ability to navigate through proprietary software environmentsExcellent communication skillsTeam player-desire and ability to help across other departments and areas when needed  Desire to grow in job to advance to the next levelRetail or ecommerce experience preferred
