Vehicle Detail Shop Manger Trainee

Delta Sonic is looking for Assistant Managers to fill vacancies in our Detail Shops in the Rochester, NY Suburb area locations.  These vacancies have been created because of our constant and consistent growth and we are looking for great candidates to grow with us.

 

Candidates will begin their employment in a Manager Trainee Program.  This 6 to 8 week training program prepares candidates to fill our Management positions for whichever department they are hired to work.  Managers will be responsible to know, train, and perform all work duties which include but are not limited to: customer service; sales; scheduling; employee discipline; grounds maintenance; minor repairs; educating customers on different services Delta Sonic has to offer; controlling labor; resolving problems; completing paperwork; producing quality cars; restoration of paint finishes; performing complete interior and exterior cleaning and restoration with related equipment; steam clean engines and door jambs; shampooing carpets and other cleaning duties. Employees in this position must be able to work quickly and efficiently, make decisions, trouble shoot problems, have the ability to put the one-minute manager skills into practice, have a sense of urgency, and be willing to work outside in extreme weather conditions. 

 

Minimum requirements:

1)  Must have a valid driver’s license.

2)  Must be able to demonstrate consistent work experience.

3)  Must have 6 months to 1 year of leadership, management, or key holder experiences.

4)  Must have a flexible availability.

5)  Must have a great customer service attitude.

 

Pay is largely based on experience and performance.
