SummaryResponsible for obtaining new business in the team sales area. Identifies and pursues sales leads with business representatives and club staff to generate team sales orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develops and executes sales plan to identify high-potential or large customers and new business opportunities. Generates and qualifies leads, negotiates pricing and/or contracts, and closes sales contracts. Pursues sales leads via phone, internet, fax or in person; give sales presentations as needed. Meets or exceeds all sales and margin performance goals. Effectively communicates new customer information to inbound sales team. Travels as needed to meet with contacts and to attend external events, including trade shows. Negotiates competitive pricing to achieve the sale, while maintaining appropriate product margin. Remains aware of promotional programs, market trends and competitive products. Acts as liaison to secure large or complex contracts; prepares ROIs as needed.
