Store Manager Grocery

Our client, a multi-state grocery chain, is currently searching for experienced grocery Store Directors or “big-box� Store Managers with knowledge of the grocery side of the store. The company is an expanding, upscale, progressive grocery chain seeking individuals who have extensive perishable food experience and a work history in a high volume (over $500k/wk) store environment.As the Store Director, you will lead up to 13 direct reports and over 300 associates in a 60,000 square foot facility. With full P&L responsibility, candidates must know how to run their business by the numbers and how to delegate to a dedicated workforce while maintaining a cooperative and friendly work environment. Successful Store Directors will also be actively involved in community activities. While the Store Director oversees all aspects of store operations, the main emphasis of this position is on customer service.To be considered for this opportunity candidates must have at least five years of experience as the number one person leading a high volume unit and possess perishable merchandise knowledge. With specialty departments such as pharmacies, custom cut meat shops, in-store scratch bakeries, seafood departments, and kosher stores, this company is upscale in its merchandising and utilizes the latest technology, marketing, and product lines in the marketplace.Relocation packages are provided along with a full line of benefits, a competitive compensation package including bonus potential and multiple retirement programs.
