ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

 

See’s is a leader in the confectionery industry with over 200 retail shops. We are seeking highly customer service oriented, friendly outgoing individuals to help manage our shop located in West Los Angeles at 3423 South La Cienega Blvd. This is our flagship store in SoCal. Candidates will have a minimum of two years retail management experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.

 

Assistant Shop Manager - $17.05 per hour (full-time plus benefits)

 

As a shop management team member, you will be asked to place a strong emphasis on customer service excellence and to lead the shop staff by motivating and managing their development to achieve sales projections.

 SHOP MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATIONS

 

1.  Management experience with See’s or other fast-paced retail environment.

2.  Excellent Customer Service and Cash Handling Skills.

3.  Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

4.  Experience in recruiting and hiring.

5.  Proven success in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees.

6.  Ability to assume responsibility for monitoring and adjusting schedules as needed for proper coverage according to company guidelines.

7.  Follows as well as enforces all company programs, policies and procedures.

8.  Strong merchandising skills.

9.  Satisfactory work performance in current position.

10.  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings and weekends. Must have OPEN availability.

11.  Ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales driven team.

12. Be physically fit for constant walking/standing, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting and lifting up to 25 pounds.
