Statistical Analyst

The Statistical Analyst would be responsible to maintain and enhance statistical models that generate demand forecast. The Statistical Analyst would monitor and tune the statistical models to adapt to changes in the demand behavior. The Statistical Analyst would maintain and enhance the forecast performance metrics that drive both statistical models and business reporting. The Statistical Analyst would carry out analysis on existing and new demand variables to constantly improve the statistical forecast models.Main Responsibilities:? Maintain forecast at SKU and SKU-Store level? Monitor forecast accuracy over time? Troubleshoot poorly performing SKUs? Maintain and enhance forecast accuracy reports? Maintain and enhance statistical models to address new demand drivers? Maintain and enhance the input variables to statistical modelsRequirements: ? Practical experience with data analysis, statistical sales/demand forecasting? Proficiency in use of data analysis applications, working with large data volumes.? Strong analytical ability, evidenced through specific issue analysis? Strong working knowledge of RDBMS, scripting languages? Good communication skills are a must. Should be able to interact at business, technical and management level.? Ability to work with cross functional teams
