Detailed Description    The Senior Pricing/Business Strategy Manager will be responsible for whole life cycle pricing and business strategy for Xilinx¿s high-volume FPGA products.  The job includes the following key roles and responsibilities:   - Pricing/Business Strategy Development:  Develop robust pricing and business strategies to be used during new product introduction, production, and maturity phases.  Drive inter-group collaboration with product marketing, finance, sales and operations to develop strategies. - Strategy Implementation:  Create and execute strategy implementation plans which cover business processes/policies as well as systems considerations.  Train sales force and regional pricing teams on details of strategy and provide training collateral and productivity/analytical tools.  - Competitive Business Intelligence:  Provide competitive business intelligence on competing high volume products.  Maintain competitive database and deliver win/loss analysis. - Deal Analysis Support:  Provide deal support for regional pricing operations teams including optimal device selection, pricing, and value positioning. - Portfolio gap analysis:  Review Xilinx¿s high-volume portfolio vs. competition to check for gaps and recommend counter business strategies. - Business tracking & analytics:  Track and analyze business performance metrics such as Revenue, Margin, Win/Loss, Quote momentum, Aggressive/Large deals.  Report out observations/issues and provide recommendations. - Price-book administration:  Manage price lists and price book content.    Job Requirements  - 8+ years in high tech product marketing, business development or finance required.  3+ years hands-on experience in pricing strategy development is required.  Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.  Knowledge of high volume markets such as consumer and automotive is a plus. - B.S. in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, economics, statistics, math, operations research, computer science, finance) is required, MBA is highly preferred. - Strong Analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to deal with ambiguity. Ability to draw insightful observations through analysis of large data sets. - Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills - Creativity and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision is required - Team player capable of developing strong partnerships in order to achieve goals - Must be effective in a fast paced and changing environment with a strong ability to anticipate needs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization   About UsProgrammable Logic is Our Business Xilinx leads the Programmable Logic Device (PLD) market - one of the fastest growing segments of the semiconductor industry.
