Major innovative retailer seeks Sr. Internal Consultant/Operations Research Analyst to manage feasibility studies for new capital projects.

Will be responsible for providing comprehensive analyses, and making business recommendations to enable internal partners and Senior Management to make sound business decisions. Work will encompass project brainstorming, developing appropriate methodologies, creating business/math models, analyzing scenarios and options, and developing presentations.

RequirementsAn advanced quantitative degree (i.e. Operations Research, Management Science, Statistics) required; PhD preferred.At least 7 years of analysis and modeling experience. 3 to 5 years experience in leading internal consulting projects.Must be a technical expert in several of the following areas: mathematical optimization, simulation, queuing theory, statistics, data mining, quantitative decision support, financial modeling.Experience in use of optimization software (i.e. GAMS/CPLEX) and simulation software (i.e. Lindo, Automod, Witness).Excellent all-around quantitative, project management, and communications skills.

Salary - up to $110,000
