Sr. HRIS Analyst
JOB SUMMARY: Staples, a global retailer of office products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, creative, team-oriented, and dynamic individual to fill the role of Business Systems Consultant on our Global HR Technology team. Apply your experience with HRIS and Human Resources processes to further the development of our Human Resources Shared Services function at our global home office in Framingham MA. This key role acts as a conduit between our global Human Resource stakeholders and the development team, breaking down technical and architectural complexities, distilling the differing messages and needs of project stakeholders into a single, consistent vision. The Sr. HRIS Analyst is responsible for leading & performing the functional activities across the development lifecycle for HR Technology implementations and/or upgrades in support of our Global PeopleSoft HCM and BEA portal portfolio. Functional activities include requirements definition, process analysis, fit/gap resolution, process design and implementation, functional application design, application configuration, testing, training, and cutover. QUALIFICATIONS: Five years of directly related experience and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems or related discipline required. A sound foundation in Global HR processes, including a fundamental knowledge of equity compensation plans, variable incentive pay plans, talent management and time and labor policies are crucial Proven experience implementing and supporting a Global PeopleSoft HCM portfolio, which includes North American Payroll, Benefits Administration, Stock Administration, Time and Labor, Employee and Manager Self Service, Talent Management, Workflow, Query and Security. Experience with Portal technologies (BEA Aqualogic, Websphere Portal, PeopleSoft/Oracle Portal, SharePoint) Strong analytical, written & oral communication skills. Experience with project life cycle methodologies, project management frameworks, documenting functional requirements and quality assurance testing required.
