 Job Description Demonstrates expert knowledge of technical design alternatives and the implementation implications.  Manages complete life cycle for most complex or high-risk components.  Analyzes functional design/overall application technical design and develops detailed module technical application for complex components.  Identifies opportunities for improving software by partnering with customers; evaluates new and existing software products.  Demonstrates expert knowledge of technical design alternatives and their implications by guiding the development team in overall application technical design activities.  Codes complex application components based on functional requirements. Job Requirements Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent training and experience  Graduate degree preferred Approximately 6-9 years experience in field Other Information: Project Management Skills: -Working knowledge of Microsoft Project -Ability to provide level of effort and order of magnitude estimations -Willingness to own communication with our business partners to gather project requirements -Ability to provide working test plans -Capability to create and publish functional and technical documentation This position requires advanced experience with applications in multi-platform environments as well as an aptitude for learning new technologies. This position includes on-call rotations for the purpose of production support. Knowledge of Transportation Logistics a plus.
