Ski Chalet was founded in 1969 in Arlington, Virginia. It is a local family business that is owned and operated by skiers and snowboarders. Position:  Retail Store Assistant Manager
Location:  Ski Chalet of Arlington, 2704 Columbia Pike, Arlington, VA

Responsibilities:Maintain store presentation consistent with company standardsEnsure a consistent, quality store experience for customersDevelop creative plans and strategies to increase store sales through business analysis, action planning and consistent accountabilityTrain, develop and evaluate Associates on selling strategiesManage store expenses and payroll; prioritize, plan, delegate, administrate and adapt to business needsMaintain communication with Regional Managers and Home Office Personnel to stay abreast of company initiativesLoss prevention, maximize inventory, cash control and loss prevention techniques

Qualifications:2+ years retail management experienceProven ability to increase sales and store profitabilityProven ability to network, recruit, interview, train, develop and promote associatesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of business operation, human resources, and shrink reductionAbility to manage, motivate and develop a store teamSnow Sports Enthusiast
