Showroom Sales Consultant -- Kitchen and Bath

The Granite Group, a leading New England based plumbing and heating wholesaler has an opening for a Showroom Consultant in our Worcester MA location.  This position is responsible for assisting our retail customers in selecting the appropriate plumbing fixtures.  Showroom sales duties include meeting, greeting and providing superior service to our showroom customers, quote production and expediting orders to meet customer’s schedule.  To succeed in this role, you will need a desire to remain abreast of and become expert in the products lines displayed in the showroom and have an understanding of home design.

Stellar customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts are key qualifications.  Above all, the ability to maintain great relationships, set proper expectations and consistent communication with customers is necessary.  Solid computer skills along with a good understanding of sales techniques are essential. 

In addition, you must have the ability to multi-task and complete projects on deadline.  Solid math, analytical and computer skills are a must.  This is a full time position requires a willingness to work a few weekday evenings.
