Service Technician - Albuquerque, NM

You will be responsible for repairing floor care products, selling store merchandise and providing excellent customer service. In addition, you will be responsible to provide accurate repair estimates, input and maintenance of point-of-sale transactions / records, installing and maintaining product displays and merchandising materials, and answering phone inquiries from both internal and external customers relating to products, service and replacement parts.  Responsibilities: · Performs mechanical service on products brought into the service center by consumers and dealers. · Responsible for receiving and shipping of products and maintains records as required. · Must be able to properly handle cash, checks, dealer charges, credit cards and warranty dealer claim forms. · Responsible for providing technical and product support to all customers. · Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean store.   · Must be capable of opening and closing the store without supervision. · Use of electrical test equipment and simple hand tools with good speed and dexterity.  · Daily exposure to noise, exposure to dirt, dust, odors, and grease when performing duties on the bench. Work involves lifting products weighing up to 40 pounds to bench level, unloading part and product deliveries, restocking of parts, as well as merchandising and remodeling of the showroom. · Job requires standing, stooping, and walking.  · Must be available to work 6 days a week including Saturday and Sunday · Follows all company policies and procedures. · All other duties as assigned.
