Senior Trainer Systems Education
The Trainer delivers new and existing training programs to specific client groups. He/she represents the educational department as new and existing products, systems and procedures are implemented and develops the appropriate training approach to ensure project goals are met. The Trainer will develop new programs utilizing his/her knowledge of learning principles. He/she will possess strong facilitation skills. Course Delivery Facilitate or co-facilitate courses utilizing sound adult learning methods. Courses to include systems training via classroom or web. Analysis and Benchmarking Seek out opportunities (on the job and external) to keep training design, development and delivery skills current and effective. Master and apply adult learning principles and effective facilitation skills. Use peer, manager and customer feedback (in addition to formal course evaluations) as a way to ensure effectiveness. Utilize questionnaires, surveys, forums, one-on-one meetings to analyze post training effectiveness on the job. Troubleshoot user issues. Training Support Data entry of training information into PeopleSoft to track training activity. Provide support for post-training endeavors (surveys, follow-up, correspondence) Special projects as needed. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree or relevant work experience. 2+ years of training and education experience with computer software applications. Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills. Ability to travel and work on a flexible schedule. Ability to interact with all levels of employees. Excellent follow-up and organizational skills. Must be organized, detail oriented, a self starter, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong teamwork skills. Proficient computer skills in MS Office. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience developing new multimedia venues for training. Prior knowledge of Retail Practices. People Soft experience.
