Senior HR Manager / HR Generalist for Corporate HQ - Industry Leader in Retail setting
The right dynamic HR Manager / Generalist who is a leader who will provide a full range of human resources support to corporate HQ populations located in Northeast USA.

Duties include but are not limited to coordinating recruitment and retention activities, on-boarding new hires, consulting with managers on performance issues, providing front line employee relations support, processing new hire and termination paperwork, interpreting company personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all state and federal employment laws, record keeping for Affirmative Action purposes and implementation of the local Affirmative Action plan. 

Human Resource generalist responsibilities for corporate offices located in Shelton, CT and New York City with a combined employee population of approximately 200 plus employees. 
Key Activities Include:  Advising management of appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Coordinating performance management initiatives, including employee performance appraisals and compensation review. Responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs. Leading the group in selection, development and retention of quality employees. Point of contact on facilities related issues. Managing miscellaneous HR responsibilities to include site-specific events, corporate communications and special projects.  At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience required. BA/BS required. Proven ability to deliver results and to work independently. 

** Spend 1 day every other week in NY City.
