Senior Financial Analyst I

JOB SUMMARY:This position has a great mix of accounting, analysis and operations focused on Contract Digital Copy Services, EasyTech, and Extended Service Plans. This position has one direct report.  Account for our 8 Contract Digital Copy Service (“DCSâ€�) Centers, which include recording standard cost of sales, actual to standard variances and operating cost accruals. Prepare consolidated monthly financial statements for the DCS Centers and review results with operational management team Work with business partners to analyze gross margin and operating profit against budget and year to date trends, as well as the accuracy of manufacturing standards Serve as the primary finance contact for the Digital Copy facility general managers. Manage the accounting for our extended service plans (“ESPâ€�) and EasyTech programs sold in our retail and delivery business units Work with business partners to produce monthly and year to date forecasts for these programs, as well as participate in the annual budget process. Oversee weekly and monthly flash reporting to summarize sales and margin for the ESP and EasyTech programs Oversee month-end close process, including producing P&L’s by program Analyze ESP and EasyTech margin results and profitability; report and inquire about unusual activity to program owners. Produce and analyze balance sheet reconciliations for all program-related accounts and assess the adequacy of accrual account balances. Participate in cross-functional meetings to support new business initiatives in all areas and serve as subject matter expert from an accounting standpoint Oversee weekly sales data and initiate payment to our service vendors Oversee the intercompany month end process for MAP, Smilemakers, and Staples Promotional Products sold through Contract Represent the finance team on cross functional meetings to open new DCS facilities Produce various regular and ad hoc reporting and analyses to support the above programs. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred 5 years of accounting and/or analysis experience Exceptional organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities Supervisory experience preferred Commitment to exceptional customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and data warehouse software
