Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics

he Senior Analyst of Advanced Analytics is responsible for developing statistical models that will enhance the company's ability to better target customers and improve marketing efficiency. Analyze customer data to support customer contact strategies. Support business managers with customer insight.

Additional responsibilities include:

Â¥ Build regression based targeting models to support customer marketing business

Â¥ Create scoring code programs (based on model results) for universe scoring

Â¥ Identify and document need for statistical model development

Â¥ Explore and analyze customer behavior data and provide actionable insight

Â¥ Design Multi-Factor Studies for direct Marketing Campaigns

Â¥ Work with marketing and planning team to incorporate analysis findings to plan future

campaigns

Â¥ Use relational database to mine data and generate meaningful marketing reports

Â¥ Create presentations and communicate findings in business language



Qualifications:

¥ BachelorÕs degree or equivalent experience, may have an advanced degree

Â¥ 5+ years of hands-on statistical model building experience

Â¥ Experience with building cluster based customer segmentation

Â¥ Strong knowledge of various discriminant methods

Â¥ Excellent database marketing skills

Â¥ In-depth knowledge of statistical procedures that are applied in customer marketing

Â¥ Strong SAS and SQL programming skills in a UNIX environment

Â¥ Strong experience in utilizing multi-factor design in both prospective and retrospective

analyses, as they relate to customer marketing

Â¥ Ability to translate business need into model specification

Â¥ Experienced in MS Access, Excel and Powerpoint

Â¥ Familiarity with use of OLAP tool is a plus (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos or Microstrategy)
