Are you interested in learning more about a career in retail security? If you have analytical skills, enjoy interacting with the public, the ability to make practical, realistic decisions and possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude, consider becoming a Security Officer at our Boston location. This individual will maintain a physical security presence on the Sales Floor while interacting with customers to ensure a safe and pleasant shopping experience. You will utilize your sense of urgency to respond to all emergency situations and monitor daily activity on the Sales Floor to ensure policies and procedures are maintained. Store opening and closing procedure responsibilities include assisting management and merchandising with secure transport of jewelry, ensuring that all caseline drawers are locked and trash bins are checked for merchandise. In addition, during store opening and closing ensuring the safety of all employees. Responsibilities may include assisting store management with security related functions such as bank deposits and special events. This position requires the flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the business. A minimum of one year of security related experience which includes the use of security systems and procedures as well as basic computer skills is required. We seek an individual with experience in a retail environment that effectively analyzes situations to make practical, realistic decisions while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
