Seasonal Merchandise Processor
Description:Seasonal positions open for both 1st shift (6:45 am - 3:15 pm) and 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 12:30 am). Mid-October to January.PURPOSE: Perform all aspects of merchandise processing including loading/unloading, unpacking/packing, ticketing, distributing, counting, and filling orders. RESPONSIBILITIES: Load/unload cartons, separate orders onto pallets, stage cartons, operate radio-frequency scanners and/or voice recognition equipment, locate merchandise, and put cartons onto the unpacking line Unpack merchandise from cartons and separate by color, size, and style Count, record, and verify quantities of merchandise for purchase orders Ticket merchandise Distribute merchandise and fill orders Hang merchandise Make boxes Maintain a safe and clean work environment Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent Ability to lift cartons or bins repetitively that weigh up to 40 lbs. Ability to work and frequently move throughout platform areas up to 30 feet above ground level Ability to frequently climb up to 60 stairs to reach picking locations Must be adaptable to change by working within different departments Manual dexterity is required.
