SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Sales Optimization Services Analyst works to develop, advance and communicate fact-based sales strategies and practices focused on superior client experience, firm profitability and coordinated and consistent execution. Key responsibilities include client analytics and insight, segmentation, target marketing, competitive intelligence, sales knowledge management, value-add program management, sales meeting management and e-Marketing. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Works with the director of Sales Optimization Services to assimilate and translate client, market and competitive research and analytics into business strategies. Communicates relevant and timely research and insight to business partners to drive action with strategy, marketing, sales, and operational activities. 2. Champions a client-driven culture by assisting sales and marketing managers with integration of client analytics and insights with development of business strategy and by fostering an active client intelligence management program. Assists in program management for the Invesco Aim 'Client Optimization Program'.3. Responsible for project management of client analytics and insight, segmentation, target marketing, competitive intelligence, sales knowledge management, value-add program management, sales meeting management, e-Marketing and other related initiatives. Maintains documentation for programs, processes, and procedures. 4. Supports customer-experience management (CEM) strategies and practices designed to enhance loyalty and client satisfaction and supports customer-relationship management (CRM) strategies and practices designed to maximize ROI on sales and marketing opportunities. 5. Manages the enhancement of CRM capabilities through integration of data in a client-centric, holistic view. Provides efficient access of CRM information and business insight to business partners. Aligns and focuses efforts on asset accumulation, retention and market share objectives. 6. Manages value-add programs and ensures coordination and alignment across all distribution functions and client touch points. Qualifies clients, tracks and analyzes program results and initiatives to measure ROI and acquisition/ retention success and continually improve performance based on results. 7. Responsible for strategic direction, content and context of large-scale internal and external, client-facing, sales meetings. Coordinates meeting execution with the Invesco meeting planning team. 8. Working with the e-Services team, identifies opportunities to leverage technology to deliver cost-effective marketing, service and sales interactions with clients and coordinates deployment of opportunities.SKILLS: Solid understanding of technology including CRM, databases, data integration, contact management systems, data analysis tools and e-commerce technologies. Knowledge of Siebel sales management software strongly preferred. Solid understanding of functional enablers such as client segmentation, campaign management and strategic interaction modeling. Excellent innovation, influence, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, organizational, and project management skills. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperatures. May be required to push, pull, lift or otherwise move weights of up to 10 pounds. Required to sit for up to 80% of the workday. May be required to participate in after hours meetings or events. Occasional travel may also be required. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: ' Undergraduate degree and graduate or advanced degree preferred. 8 - 10 years of combined experience related to strategic planning, management consulting, sales, marketing, client insight and knowledge management and marketing research preferably in the financial services industry. ' Experience with customer and market research and intelligence techniques and their application.' Solid understanding of technology including databases, data integration, contact management systems, data analysis tools and e-commerce technologies.' Experience with client segmentation, campaign management and cross-channel communication. ' Excellent innovation, influence, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
