We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Manager.  This an ideal position for an individual with excellent leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with others in an organization including direct reports, peers and Senior Management. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of three (3) years of direct management experience with an inside sales, outside sales, or customer service group, preferably in a consultative, detail-oriented sales and service environment.  A qualified candidate must have strong computer and analytical skills as well as experience using CRM systems and various business software packages. While management of the Inside Sales Department will be the core responsibility, we also provide wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment to improve existing internal processes related to managing the department.

 

Position Summary:

 

Success in this position would be:

·  Three months out:

o Develop written training procedures for the department with the goal of maintaining and improving upon data accuracy.

o Learn the features and capabilities of our CRM system and train our Inside Sales Representatives to use and incorporate the system into their daily work.

o Implement regular communication meetings with the team targeting specific important agenda items.

·  Six months out:

o Manage workflow effectively throughout the department ensuring that work is prioritized and shared in an efficient way.

 

Responsibilities:Provides oversight and management of all Inside Sales Representative activity.Establishes goals and deadlines for, and monitors achievement of goals and deadlines, of Inside Sales Representatives.Manages workflow and shares overflow work among the department, as necessary, to create the most efficient work environment.Responsibility for resolving or helping to resolve complex issues that are escalated from customer service to inside sales or from a customer directly to inside sales with the goal of resolving issues quickly.Manages and reviews new account set ups with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure data accuracy in our system. Provides hands-on training and coaching specific to each Inside Sales Representatives needs, includes but is not limited to: system or technical training, verbal and email communication, interdepartmental communication and conflict resolution, and soft-sell training techniques.Escalates and/or involves Senior Management with issues that are affecting our overall customer satisfaction.Gains a strong knowledge of all major accounts and works closely with Inside Sales Representatives to enhance and improve our annual renewal process.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.Minimum of three (3) years direct experience supervising multiple employees.Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance, training and daily supervision to your staff.Effective organizational skills and the ability to establish priorities and to plan, co-ordinate and monitor own workload and that of your staff.Commitment to continuous learning and demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new skills, with initiative to self-teach.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write in a clear and concise manner and provide detailed explanations orally.An individual that values collaboration with others in the organization. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel.Knowledge of MS Access and Crystal Reports helpful, including ability to create queries and reports.Must possess the ability to effectively coach, develop and mentor subordinates and values employee development and team building.
