POSITION: Sales Associate – Woodbury Commons

 

 

OBJECTIVE/SCOPE OF POSITION:

Achieve individual sales goals while maintaining and enhancing both their own and store's client base through customer interaction, and sales staff training.

 

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  Achieve or exceed annual sales volume objectives for each department while driving a significant portion of sales through an active client base.

2.  Maintain stock or designated assignment.

3.  Maintain sales associates’ client books..

4.  Develop new and efficient ways to communicate with and service customers.

5.  Demonstrate a continuously strong floor presence.

6.  Always be approachable, accessible and gracious in all business interactions.

7.  Consistently uphold all Victorinox Swiss Army customer service standards.

8. Professionally handle all customer returns and issues ensuring a positive customer experience.

9.  Use both personal experience on the selling floor as well as feedback from fellow staff and management to communicate customer needs to the buying office.

10.  Shop the market to stay current on trends and understand the competition.

11.Engage in all areas of Victorinox Swiss Army’s culture/styling sensibility, pro-active selling through clientele development, selling techniques, product knowledge and customer service standards.

12.  Maintain proper floor presence at all times.

13.  Adhere to all store rules, including guidelines for attendance and punctuality.

14.  Other duties as needed to contribute to the department/division accomplishing its objectives.

 





SKILL SET/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· 1-3 years experience in retail, preferably with a lifestyle brand.

· Strong communication and inter-personal skills.

· Ability to work well under the pressure of multiple tasks and deadlines.

· Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, customers and staff.

· Excellent communication skills.
