Ste. Michelle Wine Estates has an opportunity for a Sales Administrative Assistant.  This position will report to the Midwest Region Vice President of Sales, and will be located at our regional sales office in Elgin,Illinois.

Summary:

Provide critical support to the Midwest Region sales team by performing a variety of administrative and sales support duties.

 

Essential Functions:

· Provide extensive administrative and office support for sales office, including Vice President and sales personnel (includes: coordinating schedules/travel arrangements, preparing correspondence/presentations and additional support functions as needed)

· Timely production and distribution of daily/weekly/monthly reports

· Coordination of region pricing programs

· Analyze sales data and prepare sales reports on designed templates as well as impromptu reports upon request.

· Coordinate on-site facility tours/events for distributors, retailers and restaurateurs

· Schedule and coordinate arrangements for regional sales meetings, new product launches, sales blitzes and distributor kick-offs

· Track sales region budgets and prepare monthly report

· Assist with special projects as needed

 

Working Conditions:Primarily working in an office environmentAvailable for limited business travel (less than 5%) for training purposes

 

Physical Requirements:Ability to perform assigned duties and responsibilities which may include sitting for extended periods of time and operating office equipment (computer, fax, copier).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Minimum of 5+ years administrative assistant experience (experience in sales support is preferred)

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, reconciliation and prioritization abilities/skills

· Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point), experience with Lotus Notes, Cognos and Access a plus

· Intermediate accounting skills including the ability to process expenses and other reporting functions 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple tasks and frequent deadlines and still produce accurate, detail oriented results

· Effective analytical skills (data collection, analysis and evaluation)

· High School diploma or equivalent is required, Associates degree is preferred
