Our dynamic sales team currently has three Out Side Sales Representative positions available in our Sun Valley, Irvine and Riverside area.  We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible!  These positions partner effectively and efficiently with customers and company staff in driving market share and profitable revenue growth in line with the organization’s short and long term growth objectives.

 

·  Tracks product, market and competitor trends; e.g., journals, leads, and conversations with industry professionals. Identifies key opportunities and potential business threats. Provides relevant information, as appropriate, to management, marketing, sales, purchasing, and warehouse staff, as well as customers.

 

·  Proactively prospects for new business; e.g. cold calls, leads.

 

·  Partners with inside sales to optimize company are selling efforts. Keeps credit department informed of changes in customer status.

 

·  Plans and organizes sales calls for maximum effectiveness.

 

·  Works closely with appropriate company personnel to ensure that new accounts are set up in the most effective, efficient and otherwise appropriate manner.

 

·  Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

 

 

In addition, the qualified candidate will have a High School diploma or GED; at least 4 to 5 years progressively responsible, related experience. Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated understanding of the metals industry; knowledge of best practices related to sales and customer service; proven consultative selling skills; excellent computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills. Must have excellent planning, organizing, project leadership skills; ability to analyze fairly complex data and develop innovative solutions; Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take prudent risks; excellent verbal/nonverbal, written and presentation skills.
