Store Openers with a love for travel - Dollar General is ready to offer you the challenge of helping to open stores in 2008.  Dollar General is an industry leader and we are looking for world-class talent to lead store set up teams.  Our teams have the challenge of going in and setting up our conventional stores in as little as 8 to 10 days.  The ideal candidate will have experience with new store set-ups.  The top candidate will also have experience directing work teams in a retail environment.  Please note this position is field-based and should reside in Central/Southern Ohio. *** Travel is extensive.***
Minimum one-year retail store experience. Experience setting up at least one new store preferred. Experience managing and supervising teams required. Basic understanding of basic construction principles. Experience working with contractors and inspectors preferred. Experience with retail merchandising principles required. Experience with expense control. Ability and willingness to travel out-of-town for up to four weeks at a time required.  This position will be based out of your home. The expectation should be that you will be away from your base up to four weeks at a time. Our Benefits Package
