Route Sales - Red Bull Energy Drink Distributor

 

Matador Distributing, LLC, based in Atlanta, Ga., is the exclusive distributor of Red Bull Energy Drinks in the following markets: Macon north to Chattanooga, including Athens and Atlanta. Currently, Matador operates over 50 routes that service more than 7,000 retail customers with a team of 100 dedicated employees. Matador is currently looking to fill a variety of positions.

 

We have several opportunities that exist for the execution and merchandising of Red Bull Energy Drinks in a direct store delivery environment in both the on and off premise environment. We are always looking for experience as well as entry level candiates who have an interest in selling Red Bull Energy Drink. The right candidates will work closely within a team environment to achieve goals established for new accounts, key accounts, visibility in existing and new accounts, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

 Responsible for managing and executing established Red Bull North America brand standards to all accounts in a geographically outlined area with highest customer service levels.  Insures full distribution of all approved skus.

Responsible for running route relief and covering warehouse drivers if needed

Services accounts as directed by route plan; upholds service schedules with no exceptions and is responsible for all Red Bull Products as loaded out/ inventoried.

Reports all in-store issues with chain accounts/planograms to their District Manager if they are not resolved by Account Manager at store level.

Responsible for accurate reporting of sales, settling of daily sales, depositing funds daily and proper reporting of any account information changes.  Must keep account files accurate and updated. 

Recommends route changes to maximize service efficiencies and to achieve highest customer service satisfaction

Operates company-provided vehicle in safe and responsible manner to insure best safety records.  Maintains this vehicle with minimum weekly clean.  Insures all required maintenance is performed (at company cost) as scheduled.Completes all sales tracking reports accurately; submits all required reporting as requested

Delivers all pre-sold cases (Both On Premise and Grocery/Mass) as directed in handheld and/or as communicated by the Pre-sell Account Manager.

Responsible for opening new accounts of any and all channels and markets.

Requirements:

 

Two – three years proven sales experience (retail or consumer products) preferred

Handheld Computer experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and logistics skills

Safe and clear driving record- careful and prudent driving at all times

Customer-first attitude

Ability to maintain company provided vehicle to highest standard

Excellent verbal and written skills; strong communicator

Ability to work in a team environment
