Retail Visual Merchandiser

The candidate should have visual merchandising background with a specialty retailer with strong communication, project management and creative skills.  The candidate will develop all visual presentations for retail stores. RESPONSIBILITES· Work closely with Brand Marketing, Retail Merchandisers and Store Operations to build impactful visual presentations to drive retail sales.· Responsible for the execution of retail brand visual experience.  Development of store plan-o-grams, visual books, day-to-day management of all visual tools, communication of all initiatives and primary liaison to the field.· Develop, communicate and train district managers and store managers on visual standards.· Develop seasonal floor changes in conjunction with merchants and brand marketing.· Act as liaison to store construction and marketing to ensure that store designs meet brand and visual expectations.· Execute all ad hoc sign requests.· Continuously assess current visual presentations and make recommendations on improvements.· Manage visual budget and invoices· Support retail operations team with visual needs such as sales meeting, key retailer meetings, and other visual set up.  REQUIREMENTSPrior visual merchandising in a specialty retailer required.  Must be creative, high energy and excited by new challenges. Candidate should possess extensive project management experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.  Proven follow-through skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.  Proficiency with Windows based programs such as word and excel and graphic based programs Adobe Photoshop, Quark, PageMaker and Illustrator would be helpful.  BA required.
