SUPERVISOR
International Shoppes is a specialty retailer that has, for more than 50 years, operated airport retail and duty free facilities.
We currently have 4 openings for store supervisors. All stores are located at John F. Kennedy International airport.
Supervisors are responsible for the complete operation of designated areas. They work with the Store Manager, Department Heads and Associates to drive sales and ensure high levels of customer service. Supervisors act as role models of professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision making at all times.
Responsibilities
SUPERVISION
Delegating tasks and following-up to ensure task completion
Observing and providing feedback on Associate performance
Motivating Associates to perform at a high level
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ensuring customer concerns are solved professionally
Training employees to interact with customers in a professional manner
Supervisor reports directly to the General Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18 years or older
1 to 3 years of Supervisory experience in retail
Be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays
