Retail Store Manager - Oklahoma

PLEASE NOTE: For consideration, candidates must have retail store experience and must be relocateable within the next six months.

 

POSITION: Manages a discount specialty store that is freestanding or that is located in a strip center. 

 

COMPANY: A regional retailer that specializes in offering a full line of quality merchandise – both Hardlines and Apparel – at reasonable prices to the smaller communities of America.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Responsible for sales, merchandising and operations of a specialty retail store. 

·        Responsible for maintaining effective control of productivity standards, labor costs, and gross profit opportunities.

·        Responsible for maintaining effective customer service.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Must be relocateable within one year.

·        Previous experience as Store Manager in retail store or as Assistant Manager in high-volume retail store.

·        Merchandising background.

·        Willingness to work long hours in a fast-paced retail environment.

·        Excellent communication and management skills.

 

SALARY / BONUS: A base salary in the $38,000 - $45,000 range based on prior experience with paid training and monthly bonus potential after promotion to Store Manager.
