Our client is looking to hire a Store Management team for a temporary retail store set to open in Hollywood this fall.The primary responsibility of the Store Manager is to provide leadership and management in all aspects of store operation for the maximization of store sales and profits. The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the store: sales and service, people management, merchandise management, visual merchandising, presentation asset protection and administration. The following is an overview of The Store Manager’s day to day responsibilities:• Generate store sales and increase profit• Train all associates on best practices; ensure staff meets and adheres to policies and procedures. Develop staff customer service skills• Staff scheduling, time sheets and payroll• Control inventory levels, assign and manage cycle counts, order merchandise, trouble-shoot inventory issues, maintenance, etc• Open/Close the store as well as closing out registers and keep accurate accounting records, per policies and procedures• Cash Management• Attend meetings; provide feedback on store sales and successes/challenges• Handle customer service issues• Maintain store appearance• Protect company assets.
