Retail Store Assistant Manager / Manager
Ashworth, Inc. is a Southern California-based designer of men's and women's golf-inspired lifestyle sportswear distributed domestically and internationally in golf pro shops, resorts and upscale department and specialty stores. We are seeking a reliable, professional, organized and goal-oriented person to fill a Retail Management position at our Leesburg, Virginia location.
Job Description
Responsible for close monitoring of all operations, personnel and merchandising of the store. Responsible for reporting all requested reports to corporate. Responsible for hiring, training and staff development, termination and enforcing current personnel policies
Essential Duties
· Actively set example of the Ashworth standard for customer service on a daily basis.
· Implement corporate expectations and guidelines.
· Record all pertinent information dealing either with operations or personnel and report accordingly.
· Participate in mall meetings and have awareness of community activities that directly affect the customer or employees.Actively ‘Set the Bar’ higher for the stores performance. Be enthusiastic, understanding and non-judgmental to obtain a successful store.
QualificationsStrong Retail Management background (Preferably in a department store, outlet or specialty store)Experience in a supervisory roleExcellent communication skillsPC skills (Windows XP, Excel and Word)
