GOLF GALAXY CURRENTLY HAS A MANAGEMENT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR OUR STORE LOCATED IN WOODBRIDGE!

All Golf Galaxy Store Managers are responsible for the following:Drives and sustains sales and operational integrity and profitability within store by setting expectations, holding staff accountable, and monitoring and measuring progress to achieve positive results.Performs the Sales Manager on Duty responsibilities, ensuring that customers are greeted and acknowledged; offers customers assistance as needed or requested.  Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect by using diplomacy and tact.  Diffuses high-tension situations comfortably and in the best interest of the Company.Meets or exceeds P&L objectives including sales, margin, inventory shrinkage, payroll, and other controllable expenses, such as supplies and operating costs within assigned areas.Actively promotes and exhibits expertise in selling techniques and manages selling mentoring initiatives and programs.Maintains thorough knowledge of products and services, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertising.

 Experience, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Superior ability to effectively lead, guide, develop and direct staff members. Working knowledge of profit and loss statements and managing to a budget. Superior problem-solving, reasoning and conflict management skills. Must take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependable performer. Ability to successfully perform in a fast growth, changing environment. Available to work flexible hours/days to oversee store. PC skills to include Word, Excel, and POS.
