We are in search of a qualified Specialty Retail District Manager to be located within the Pittsburgh market who would like to be part of a world-class chain of stores. This district covers a 15-18 store territory including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Eastern Ohio and New Jersey. As customary in many Specialty Retail Organizations our District Managers are actively involved in the following accountabilities for their assigned areas: Business:• Oversee the measurable operational components for the district• Drive sales, financial management and ensure profit and productivity goals are metPeople:• Create and cultivate diversity within the district • Build and maintain a management team through networking and recruiting qualified retail professionals for our Manager in Training program and Store Management• Oversee the training and development of potential internal candidates, especially in the area of succession planning to achieve future growth Service:• Cultivate a district approach toward public relations, events, promotions, and other community efforts • Create exceptional store experiences for our customers through sales ands service initiatives Requirements to be considered for this position: • 5-7 years of Specialty Retail Multi-Unit district management experience (candidates who do not have this experience will not be considered) • Proven results of driving and achieving measurable success within your area of responsibility • Passion for retail and meeting the various needs of the targeted consumer base within our stores Family Christian Stores offers a comprehensive medical, dental, and vision package, life insurance, 401K matching program, flexible spending accounts, competitive vacation package, and more.
