Retail Assistant Store Manager - Queens, NY
Position Summary: Establish and maintain an environment to support Sales and Service. General Purpose: Customer Service, Results, Operations, People Development Role Qualifications: Teach and reinforce behaviors that result in managers and associates delivering Easy Sales and Service Develop associates to achieve results Coordinate and manage all store operationsPosition Responsibilities: Supervise, recruit, train, develop, coach and communicate with all associates and managers as well as assess performance Effectively coordinate & manage sales activities Effectively coordinate & manage all store operational activities Oversee timely processing of all personnel actions Stay current on new technologies and ensure associate understanding Ensure a positive customer experience Achieve store level earnings and sales goals Ensure company presentation standards are met Supervise store security and safety Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures Perform other related duties as assignedEssential Skills and Experience: Decision Making: base ideas, positions, or judgments on available facts Planning: identifies action steps needed to accomplish team objectives Managing Execution: conveys clear expectations for assignments Focus on Service: identifies and anticipates customer requirements, expectations and needs Engage and Inspire: energizes others by clarifying the broader purpose and mission of their work Developing Others: provides honest, helpful feedback to others on their performance Building Relationships: relates to people in an open, friendly, accepting manner Leveraging Diversity: seeks diverse ideas and points of view to achieve business success Results Orientation: sets high standards of performance for self and others Adaptability: demonstrates an appropriate level of composure and patience under trying circumstances Preferred skills and experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field Two to four years progressive retail experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity
