Reset Specialist - Salem
National Vendor Services (NVS) is a full-service merchandising organization, with nearly 1,000 employees throughout the United States. Since 1991, NVS has had a successful relationship with Lowe's® Home Improvement Warehouse stores through its integral role in the store's operations. Our dedicated professionals perform merchandising, resets, training and inventory control for major hard-line manufacturers. NVS is a Mooresville, NC based company. The parent company and corporate headquarters, National Product Services, is located in Dallas, TX.
RESET SPECIALIST
The primary focus of this position will be to complete reset work throughout Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse Stores according to the accepted master reset schedule. This position is also responsible for ensuring that exceptional customer service is maintained within all departments that we service.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Reset plan-o-grams as agreed to with Lowe’s
· Have the ability to lead a team or perform reset work alone depending on the scope of the reset project
· Report completion of reset work including pictures utilizing company provided PDA and camera equipment
· Ensure product area is clean and well maintained, according to vendor specifications
· Complete periodic surveys, and report the results of those surveys
· Complete minor plan-o-gram changes, as required
· Participate in Special Events, as needed
· Work in new store openings and re-merchandising projects, as needed
· Understand vendor-specific product knowledge, and communicate that knowledge to Lowe’s personnel when requested
· Provide continuous courteous and professional customer service to vendors, Lowe’s personnel and Lowe’s customers
Position Requirements:
· 2-3 years experience working in retail/retail services environment
· Reliable transportation and proof of valid drivers license and insurance a must
· Complete set of tools (including cordless drill and mallet)
· Ability to work flexible shifts and locations independently to meet deadlines and achieve results
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Must be computer literate
· Working knowledge of a PDA (Personal Data Assistant Device)
· Must be able to lift/carry 45-50 pounds frequently
· Must be able to push/pull 50-100 pounds
· Must be able to lift items from the floor, to waist level and perform frequent reaching over the shoulders
30-40 hrs/wk
$14.00 - $15.00 per hr.
