RTC Functional Team Member, Global SAP Competency Center

| E-Mail This Job | View Our Company Profile      Responsibilities   · Provide subject matter expertise on SAP for their respective business area (Requisition-To-Check). · Acknowledged as an SAP expert in their business area, has SAP functional industry expertise and a deep level of understanding on the business processes for their area. · Is well-versed  in SAP best practices and supporting SAP tools related to methods, analysis, design, implementation and support · Work with Regional IT on design, testing and problem resolution for global SAP solutions. · Configures the SAP solution to meet the business needs conforming with SAP best practice developments. · Fulfill the role of PM on assigned projects adhering to our Project Lifecycle and SAP Methods (including Governance, Project Mgmt, Release Mgmt/SDLC methods) – delivering on-time, within budget · Lead and participate in development, implementation and delivery of the IT SAP AOP Plan · Assist in development of strategies and tactical plan and assure that all work is consistent with IT strategies and delivers against AOP plans · Sustain appropriate level of knowledge for SAP area seeking opportunities to reduce redundancies in solutions and leverage SAP solution set where possible · Act as lead SAP analyst to provide detailed SAP area knowledge and “SAP best practice” of business processes and SAP use · Partners closely with business partners, IT/business analysts, other global IT teams to facilitate issue resolution, develop SAP solution designs and deliver SAP solutions in a fast-paced environment · Develop and implement necessary IT General Controls in solution delivery Plan and monitor the teams’ workload and provide day-to-day direction to team members. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.   Experience: Minimum six to nine years experience in IT analyst or consulting position with knowledge and experience related to business function.  Minimum  5 Years experience hands on working with SAP solutions.   Knowledge, Skills, &Abilities: Proven ability to develop complex SAP solutions. Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in SAP blueprint and design sessions.  Able to interact with business and technical partners at all levels of the organization.  Strong SAP project methodology experience in a complex business environment. Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills. Must be a self-starter, able to work in a real time fast-paced environment.  Ability to interact with and develop solutions in partnership with third party resources, including those based off-shore.   Detailed knowledge of all the major business processes and associated functionality in the Requisition to Check area; includes PP, MM, WM and an understanding of AP as it relates to purchasing. Knowledge of the SAP suite of applications including SCM. Ability to understand and explain to others the cross-functional and global implications of business process decisions and their implementation in a global SAP environment. Ability to establish and maintain credibility  with the business functional resources they will work with. Ability to work with diverse teams including 3rd party resources in remote locations. Strong written and oral communication skills and an open communication style. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple priorities and stretching goals. Able to work in a global organisation respecting regional and local cultural and organizational differences. Travel Requirements: This is a Global position that will require occasional travel to Westlake, TX as well as travel to the Regions. Travel is variable, but may be increased in the short-term due to the current portfolio of implementations which includes rolling-out Europe, and potentially Asia after that.
