Due to recent promotions, M&M’S WORLD®, is seeking a RETAIL SALES MANAGER who will be primarily responsible for driving sales in support of designated sales goals for our Las Vegas, NV store. Reporting to the Store Director, the Retail Sales Manager is responsible coaching and mentoring associates, maintaining guest service standards, analyzing sales trends and opportunities, and establishing sales goals and executing action plans. We offer set schedule Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 11:00am - 7:30pm; and off on Tuesday and Wednesday. Duties include: Drive sales, imparting skills and knowledge to associates in a way that is understandable and impactful Provide consistent, fair and timely feedback to associates through various channels, i.e., one on one opportunities, reviews, coaching, mentoring, training Communicate expectations in accordance with the culture of the company and in support of the various associate positions/job responsibilities Insure guest service standards are maintained throughout the location Analyze sales trends and opportunities, establish goals, determine/execute action plans and implement metrics to measure successes Insure communication channels are open and varied; direct the flow of pre-shift meetings Offer enhancements to operational policies and procedures, as needed Demonstrate and impart the 5 Principles of Mars Inc. Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company Other duties as assigned by the Store Director Ability to make immediate decisions as it relates to driving sales Ability to make immediate decisions regarding associate issues, store policy and procedure issues and guest service recovery. Ability to make recommendations to enhance operational and associate needs.Qualifications:• 2 years retail management and supervisory experience in a fast paced, high volume retail operation. Supervisory experience required.• Communication, listening & problem solving skills• Ability to direct and motivate others• Ability to make recommendations to enhance operational and associate needs• High School diploma or GED equilvalent. College degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.Company-paid relocation is not available for this position.
