RETAIL MERCHANDISE PLANNING COORDINATOR

Northern Tool & Equipment Company, one of the nation's largest retail/catalog companies, has an opening for a merchandising professional with a strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated administrative capabilities.

This position acts as a liaison between the Merchandising department and our Retail Stores, and is responsible for:

- Planning, implementing and completing planogram line reviews and rollouts, working with Space Planning, Retail Merchandisers and Merchandise Managers to facilitate the process and provide feedback on existing store capabilities

- Attending pre-planning meetings to anticipate and resolve issues related to successful line review planning processes and rollouts

- Developing and maintaining a master retail calendar

- Documenting and standardizing how line reviews are communicated to retail stores

- Acting as primary contact for store questions and comments related to planogram rollouts and other merchandising issues

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (or work equivalent) in business, marketing, management or similar area; course work in retail/visual merchandising preferred

- Minimum 2 years' related retail and/or merchandising experience, preferably in hardline industrial products going to end users

- The communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work with a broad range of internal/external customers

- Flexibility to adjust to different surroundings and often different monthly schedules

- Availability to travel during set up of new retail locations and merchandising assignments
