Ensures brand integrity and timely product development execution.Qualifications- Working in conjunction with buying organization, ensures brand and assortment balance by category and product consistency across categories. Addresses assortment planning, classification trending, key item identification and pricing direction.- Analyzes line plan in relation to the execution of concepts by store level for the season.- Researchs and analyzes competitive and benchmark brands on a seasonal basis. Presents findings and proposals, including pricing strategies, key items, classification analysis and fabrications.- Working in conjunction with buyers, ensures all brand merchandise meets corporate standards for quality and brand integrity.- Analyzes weekly selling results and communicates to Design.- Works closely with Design and buyers, researches and resolves issues and communicates results to all parties.- Develops Associate Product Managers by coaching, motivating and providing developmental opportunities. - Bachelor's degree in Design, Merchandising or equivalent.- Minimum of five years fashion experience or equivalent.- Understanding of industry trends, assortment planning, key item development, color, print and pattern selection.- Strong understanding of design principles, practices and procedures.- Strong knowledge of textiles, pattern and fabrics.- Strong communication, organizational, administrative and managerial skills.BenefitsAs a Sears professional, your career path options will be determined by your performance as well as your desire to advance further within Sears organization.
