If writing your own success story interests you - Welcome to Hollywood!    Summary:  The Procurement Specialist will be a part of the corporate procurement team that is accountable for providing the organization with procurement services such as; corporate travel management, travel procurement and sourcing, purchasing, and system/user administration.This position requires excellent internal customer service abilities as the Procurement Specialist will be required to interface both within and outside of the corporate procurement group and at all levels of management within the organization.  Principal Duties and Responsibilities:1.  Provides procurement and sourcing support as required to strategic sourcing team.  Prepares and coordinates preparation of Requests For Proposals (RFP), Requests For Quotations (RFQ) and other solicitation documentation intended for the procurement of goods and services. Manages the distribution of solicitation documents through the eSourcing tool.  Responds to solicitation questions and inquiries.  Assists sourcing team in the screening of solicitations.  Actively participates in the evaluation and select of suppliers. 2.  Oversees the corporate travel program.  Assists travelers with travel planning, suggested routes and vendors, quotes, and schedules. Communicates corporate travel guidelines and procedures.3.  Responsible for educating and training employees who either travel or support travelers on the domestic online booking tool.4.  Works with online booking tool supplier to develop reporting and travel best practices.  Accountable for monitoring corporate travel spend and initiating policies and programs to decrease travel program costs.  Understands and monitors compliance with corporate travel policies.5.  Provides user administration for various systems (eSourcing, Office Supplies, Corporate Credit Cards, Travel, etc.).  6.  Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups.7.  Pursues innovations in procurement practices and department procedures that will improve effectiveness and produce cost savings. Performs other purchasing and/or materials management related duties as required or directed. May be required to temporarily assume other staff duties in their absence. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: o Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience, preferably in a corporate procurement environmento Procurement, Business, Travel or related experience is preferredo Ability to work effectively with key personnel at the corporate and business unit levels is requiredo Strong verbal and written communication skills are requiredo Proficiency in Microsoft Office a desktop application tool is required; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Share Point.o Demonstrated knowledge of the RFP process is preferred o Experience with Procurement systems a plusHollywood Entertainment - which includes Hollywood Video and Game Crazy stores as well as our corporate offices and distribution centers - is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for all our guests, as well as great career opportunities for all our partners.
