 JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of processing department in a retail distribution center.  In addition, the qualified candidate will have personnel responsibilities for up to 30 associates.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities of a processing department

§ Leading, developing, and motivating associates

§ Facilitating change through innovative thinking and process improvement.Manage and develop a staff of up to 30 direct reportsResponsible for assisting in all aspects of performance management including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and recognitionSchedule and monitor daily staff to ensure completion of all processing activities in a timely and accurate manner.  Identify opportunities for enhancements and efficiencies in processes and production flow.Communicate and coordinate on a regular basis with Director of Operation Maintain detailed statistics on various performance measurementsCreate environment of communication and collaborationUnderstand and support all safety policies.  Ensure safe work practices are followed and maintain a safe work environment JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Operations or related field preferred and/or related experienceA minimum of 1-3 years leadership CONTACT INFORMATION
