Planning Specialist, Levi's Retail for Womens
Manufacturing/Production/Operations Location: San Francisco, CA 94101 | E-Mail This Job | View Our Company Profile   The purpose of this position is to execute inventory strategies and issue production orders for multiple product codes for the assigned brand and consumer segment. Ensure the smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods through the supply chain to meet required delivery dates Develop inventory strategies that support customer demand, taking into consideration lead times and sourcing strategies Project and allocate raw materials to cover demand, and ensure that 1st quality product is delivered on time Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree (7+ years of combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree) Minimum 5 years general operations / business background Minimum 2 years experience in production planning, inventory management and manufacturing Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel Additional QualificationsExperience in the apparel or consumer packaged goods industry preferred Good problem solver who is experienced in executing supply planning strategies Demonstrated ability to handle complex products and issues independently Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external contacts Exceptional analytical and multi-tasking skills Strong computer skills Manugistics/I2 experience preferred APICS certification a plus
